a handy easy to use flat iron that's equipped with awesome titanium plates in my mind! I totally trust the cortex brand so much more after using this titanium hair straightener just once. I never had a straightener that was able to straighten each section of my hair in just one glide. Great experience.

Been a fan of titanium plates for hair straighteners for a long time. Nothing against this cortex iron specifically, it's just that my friend owns a ceramic version of it and it actually works better than this one that I own! Maybe cortex just makes better ceramic plates than titanium? I'm not sure, but the ceramic version definitely made my hair feel more smooth!

Magnificent titanium hair straightener. I used to use ceramic straighteners but I'm growing to love titanium plates after buying this cortex. This styler feels very sturdy as soon as i held it and I knew it wasn't some cheap product you get at some random stand. Getting great results, and always proud when people ask me where I get my hair done when i'm actually doing it myself :)

In my opinion, cortex makes some of the best titanium plates. I'm a much bigger fan with titanium plates than ceramic tourmaline plates cause I find them to go through my hair much easier. I just like the quality more. Bolds really well with the powerful 450F that this cortex flat iron provides too! Really good flat iron overall, almost as good as Avanti Ultra Titaniums.

Cortex 450 is working great for me |

I was looking for a flat iron with the hottest temperature and I came upon a few brands. Corioliss, Avanti, and the cortex. I went around and asked some friends in this field, and they suggested the new cortex solo 450 titanium or ceramic. So I went with the titanium because my friend owns a titanium plated flat iron and she told me they're the smoothest plates. Also, this is fairly more affordable than the avanti and corioliss. I'm not sure if it's actually better than the other brands though since I haven't tried them myself. Anyways, here's how this flat iron is doing for me. It definitely gets very hot, and it only takes seconds for it to heat up. It also doesn't pull my hair at all. It leaves my hair feeling very hydrated and that makes me happy because it's such a good feeling. And last, it was so good when i traveled overseas and was still able to use it due to its dual voltage feature. That was so useful.
