Straightens my curly hair with no trouble! July 13, 2010

I've owned a Cortex flat iron for over a 5 months and I have been loving it since. I am African American, hence, the curly frizzy hair,  and it still straightens my hair with no trouble. I try to avoid perming, but with the Cortex, you can't tell if I have a fresh perm or not. Awesome styler!

This is a fun looking flat iron! I saw that they have an amika giraffe one too. Not sure why nobody reviewed this flat iron cause I for sure think cortex is better than amika. Especially with this new solo 450 collection. The amika is about 15 dollars cheaper than this, but it doesn't offer nearly as much. This flat iron has the hottest heat you can find, dual voltage, and I can bet anyone it heats up faster too. Hope more people looking for giraffe pattern flat irons see this!
